Precious Baby Colton..

Isn't his name great? I love the strong and confident name of Colton. What a cutie he is! I had the privilege of taking his photos over this past weekend when we returned to Middle Tennessee! His mom, is my best friend's sister. She is a sweet friend of mine and seems to be adjusting to motherhood with ease (wish I could have said the same for myself when Cade was born!). Happy Anniversary

So many people these days can't seem to stay married longer than a handful of years. Not so in this case! Tom and Nancy have been married 40 years! Wow! There are some days, and I know my husband would agree, I feel as if I've been married 20 years already and it's only been 8! These two had a precious party thrown in their honor by their daughter, Melissa. She pulled this party together quickly and did a great job! It was held at the Acadia River House. Acadia is a beautiful subdivison off of I-185. Take a few moments out of your day to view their slide show. You will see photos of their families, friends and that thing called Love! Enjoy!

The Trubey Family's Newest Addition!!

Saturday I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful baby girl! Her name is Anna Grace and she is just as sweet as she can be! She had a head full of dark hair and the sweetest toes! Her big brother Joshua loves her to pieces! He loves to play and hide in her closet! The Trubey family is always so sweet and Saturday was no exception. They are so kind and welcomed me into their home with open arms.

The 4th of July

We traveled to Sweet Home Alabama over the 4th of July. We took a little detour through Nashville and saw some of our sweet friends that we miss so badly! Then, it was off to Mimi and Papa's house! We spent one night there and then we all went to Smith Lake for the rest of the weekend. As always, my sister and her husband John were great a great hostess and host! We rode the Wave Runner, went on a boat ride and ate way too well! This was the first time that my sister Allie (aka: Big Al), my brother-in-law Chet, and my niece Leah and nephew Levi had met Claire. Allie and Leah could not get enough of her! The Celebration of Will's Arrival!!

One of the greatest benefits of my job is that it does not feel like a job. I feel like an old friend who has been called to photograph these life changing moments in others' lives. What an honor! Take the Saunders family for example. This precious family welcomed me into their home and allowed me to photograph their sweet children, adorable dog and a day in their life! We had a great time talking and 'shooting.' Thank you for allowing me the privilege of capturing your family welcoming it's newest addition....precious and sweet baby Will!

Sam Perry Weds Breghanna Bowser

June 20, 2009, was such a hot day. The temperature on the dance floor was hot too! We might have been in an air conditioned venue but the guests of Breghanna and Sam were tearing the dance floor up! What a fabulous wedding and reception! These two have families who know how to throw a great party. It all began with a beautiful bride! Breghanna looked stunning in her gorgeous dress and Sam looked so handsome in his tux. And, how can I not mentioned their precious Landon! What a looker he already is! Congratulations to you both! You were both so sweet and kind and I am so honored you chose me to document your day! I wish you all the best!

Summer Fun at Myrtle Beach!

Who doesn't love the beach? I could live at the beach with no problem! I love the sun, sand, birds, food, etc. It is awesome. We were able to go down to the beach with our friends a few weeks ago.
