First Baptist North Spartanburg's Fall Festival

I was recently at my son's school and noticed a class had posted their stories on the outside of their classroom. The title of their stories were "I Love Fall." Well, I do love Fall and this Fall Festival is one reason why! Fall Festivals are great because there is always Fair Food, always rides and always lots of good music. This years Fall Festival at First North was no different! There were rides for every age and so much food! There were cheeseburgers and sweet tea from The Beacon, yummy chicken sandwiches from Chick-Fil-A and smoky BBQ from Dickey's. And, who can go to a Fall Festival without having at least one bite of cotton candy and a funnel cake! Can't you smell the grease and powdered sugar?

Please take a moment to view First North's Slide Show. And, if you were not able to attend this year, take a look at what you missed!

See you next year! Thanks First North!

The Horn Children

Aren't these twins and their curly haired sister beautiful? I had photographed Kate before but not her twin brothers and I was so excited to meet them. Since I moved from Nashville three years ago, Kate had grown so much! And, the last time I saw their mom, she was pregnant with the boys. How great it was to meet these two gentlemen!

Take a moment to view their slide show. These kids are adorable!

Mr. Nate & Miss Kendall

Aren't these two so cute? I love how they were just themselves the day we shot. The looks on their faces are priceless! It was so cold that day and they toughed it out and did great! Nate is a great big brother and is soon to welcome another sister! Kendall is as cute as she can be and I loved how she was able to turn her tongue sideways. Try it...it's hard....you're trying it now aren't you? Ha ha!

The Hickman Family

If you follow me on Facebook then you already know this sweet family. This is the Hickman family and I love them to pieces! They are always so much fun to be around. Emily reminds me of my cousin in Alabama and Wayne went to the University of Alabama! See? I told you they were good people! With that much 'Alabama' in someone they have to be good! Then, you add in their photogenic children and I am in heaven! Thanks guys for letting me photograph you! As always....it was my pleasure!

Here is my precious friend Cayce and her daughter Emma (or Emma bug has her grandmother likes to call her). Cayce and I have been friends for so long and I cherish our friendship. There are just those people in life that make life worth living....she is one of them! I had the joy of taking their photographs this past weekend. It was cold but both 'suffered' through it! We happened on this soybean field (hello Edamame...yum!) and loved the color so we decided this would be our location. I hope you enjoy their photos! Love & miss you Cayce!

Precious Baby Colton..

Isn't his name great? I love the strong and confident name of Colton. What a cutie he is! I had the privilege of taking his photos over this past weekend when we returned to Middle Tennessee! His mom, is my best friend's sister. She is a sweet friend of mine and seems to be adjusting to motherhood with ease (wish I could have said the same for myself when Cade was born!). Take a moment to view his sweet slide show. This young man is beautiful and so loved by his precious family. Don't forget to check out his hair! The boy has a lot of it!

Welcome to the world Mr. Colton Vance Stock!
(Your other 'aunt' Ashee loves you too!)

Happy Anniversary

So many people these days can't seem to stay married longer than a handful of years. Not so in this case! Tom and Nancy have been married 40 years! Wow! There are some days, and I know my husband would agree, I feel as if I've been married 20 years already and it's only been 8! These two had a precious party thrown in their honor by their daughter, Melissa. She pulled this party together quickly and did a great job! It was held at the Acadia River House. Acadia is a beautiful subdivison off of I-185. Take a few moments out of your day to view their slide show. You will see photos of their families, friends and that thing called Love! Enjoy!
